Installation method
- Stir evenly before use, and apply the adhesive with A1 or A2 notched trowlsevenly onto the treated substrate （A1 is recommended for smooth and even substrates , only use A2 for the uneven substrate with very rough surface or without self-leveling cement applied to the substrate).
- Use the wet setmethod on the absorbent substrate: Use the A1 trowl to spread the adhesive, let it flash for 10-15 minutes. When the adhesive film is still wet (touch the adhesive film lightly with your fingers, feel tacky and adhesive will also reach onto your fingers), you can begin to install the flooring. The above mentioned flooring can be laid within 120 minutes. After laying the floor, use a heavy metal roller to compact the floor, or use other tools to compact the floor to eliminate the air bubble underneath the flooring in order to transfer the adhesive to the backing of the flooring.
- On dense and non-absorbent sub-floor, such as ceramic tilesor epoxy coated sub-floor, bond the PVC flooring with the pressure-sensitive method: Let the adhesive dry for 60 minutes, and then bond the flooring to the sub-floor after the adhesive film is surface-dry. The working time is 180 minutes. After laying the flooring, use a heavy metal roller to compact the flooring, or use other tools to compact the flooring to eliminate the air bubble under the flooring. This elimination can make the bonding more secure.
- The indoorroom temperature should not be below 5℃ and the indoor air humidity should not be above 80%.
Precautionary measures
- Ensure optimum temperature and humidity conditions for installation and ventilation. Low temperature and high humidity will prolong drying time and delay bond strength development.
- This product should be protected from severe freezing and strong sunlight during transportation, storage and installation.
Coverage
Approximately 4 -4.5 square meters per kilogram can be achieved on the polished self-leveling underlayment with an A1 trowel.
