Installation method
- Stir evenly before use, and apply the adhesive with A1 or A2 notched trowelevenly onto the treatedsubstrate.
- On absorbent floors such as self-leveling underlayment, bond all types of flooring using the semi-wet method after polishingthe underlayment and eliminating the dust. This means that after the adhesive has air-dried for 10-15 minutes, the adhesive film is semi- wet, and you can finger touch the adhesive surface and feel tacky, the adhesive also sticks onto your finger, you can begin to lay the flooring material. After installation, use a heavy metal roller to compact the flooring, or use other tools to compact the flooring to eliminate the air bubble underneath the flooring. The working time is 90 minutes.
- On denseandnon-absorbent sub-floor,such as ceramic tiles or epoxy sub-floor, bond the PVC flooring with the pressure-sensitive method: Let the adhesive dry for 60 minutes, and then bond the flooring to the sub-floor after the adhesive film is surface dry. After laying the flooring, use a heavy metal roller to compact the flooring, or use other tools to compact the flooring to eliminate the air bubble under the flooring.The working time is 120 minutes.
- Use the contact bonding method for bonding skirting. This means that the adhesive isto beapplied both on the back of the piece of flooring and on the wall substrate. Wait for both sides to be dry, press the piece of the flooring onto the wall then compact the piece of the flooring.
- The indoortemperatureshould not be below 5℃and the air humidity should not be above 80%.
Precautionary measures
- Ensure optimum temperature and humidity conditions for installation and ventilation. Low temperature and high humidity will prolong drying time and delay bond strength development.
- This product should be protected from severe freezing and strong sunlight during transportation, storage and installation.
Coverage
On the polished self-leveling underlayment , an A1 trowel can be used to cover about 4-4.5 square meter area per kilogram of adhesive. On ceramic tiles, an A1 trowel can be used to cover about 5-6 square meter area per kilogram.
